Oldfourth is located in southwest Durham within historic Hope Valley, directly along the Hope Valley Country Club golf course, on the last remaining undeveloped land in the neighborhood. It offers residences in a quiet, established community with easy access to downtown Durham and everything in the Research Triangle.
What kinds of homes are in Oldfourth?
Oldfourth is an upscale neighborhood offering new homes in a well-established and coveted area. There are three distinct home offerings, all newly constructed:
• The Fairway Collection — Estate homes directly on the golf course, from $3.5MM
• The Woodside Collection — Large luxury homes from $2MM
• The Cottage Collection — Single family or paired cottages from $1.5MM
Who’s involved in Oldfourth?
The experienced development team—Bryson Powell, Walker Harris, and Phil Blizzard—are all long-time Hope Valley residents. The designer and custom builders include the most respected names in the area: Frazier Home Design, Loyd Builders, Homes by Dickerson, and Chase Building Company.
When will homes in Oldfourth be available?
Oldfourth is currently in presale and early construction phases. The estimated completion date for the first homes is late 2026.
Why is it called Oldfourth?
While Oldfourth is on what’s now the 13th hole, in the original design of the course the fairway that runs right alongside the property belonged to hole #4.
